News Landing Image TOYOTA T-MATE - for your safe journey
On the freeway, in the city or in the parking lot, T-Mate guarantees that you will always be safe. These systems protect not only you and your passengers, but also other road users.

Safety system TOYOTA SAFETY SENSE

Collision Prevention System (PCS)

The collision prevention system helps you avoid collisions with other vehicles. It warns the driver through audio and visual signals and helps with braking. If the driver fails to brake in time, the brakes automatically apply to prevent or mitigate a collision.

Adaptive Cruise Control/Full Range Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

This system maintains a predetermined minimum distance between you and the vehicle in front. If the specified distance decreases, the system reduces the speed of the vehicle and activates the brakes as well as the brake lights.

The full-range adaptive cruise control system can bring the car to a complete stop if the vehicle in front stops. A slight tap on the accelerator or the adaptive cruise control lever will turn the system back on.
If the vehicle is equipped with Road Sign Recognition (RSA), this system will also detect speed limits on your route and make adjustments accordingly.

Lane Keeping Assist (LTA)

The Lane Keeping Assist system is designed to increase the level of traffic safety on highways. It helps you stay in your lane, and if you drift out of lane, the steering assist system gently pulls you back.

Automatic High Beam (AHB)

The automatic high beam system monitors the road to detect the headlights of an oncoming vehicle. If it detects headlights, the high beam automatically switches to low beam mode. After the vehicle arrives, the system will switch back to high beam. As a result, driving at night becomes safer for everyone.

Emergency Vehicle Stop System (EDSS)

If the system detects that the driver is not responding for a certain period of time, it will be notified by sound signals. In case of inactivity, the EDSS system will gradually bring the vehicle to a stop and at the same time take care of driving safely in the lane. In order to warn other road users, the emergency lights are turned on and the door locks are opened to make it easier to find help if necessary.

Parking assist system

Toyota Teammate Advanced Parking Assist System

This system controls acceleration, steering, braking and shifting to ensure safe parking. It can remember your preferred parking space that is not separated by lanes or adjacent objects.

Panoramic View Monitor (PVM)

Parking is easier and safer with this system. It combines images from four cameras to give you a 360-degree field of view around you.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert System with Automatic Braking (RCTAB)

When backing out of a parking space, this system will detect any vehicle approaching you from the left or right, warn you of this and apply the brakes to avoid a collision.

Smart Parktronic (ICS)

This smart system warns the driver of obstacles in front or behind the vehicle and automatically applies the brakes to avoid a collision.

Safe Exit Assist System (SEA)

This system uses blind spot monitoring radar to avoid collisions with an oncoming vehicle or bicycle when the passenger opens the door. When there is a risk of a collision, the indicators on the exterior mirrors and the multi-information display will light up, and an audible signal will be activated to warn the passengers.

Help with management

Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)

The blind spot monitoring system warns the driver of any vehicle that may not be visible in the side mirrors. It is especially useful when overtaking.

Adaptive High Beam System (AHS)

This system is designed to provide the best visibility for all road users at night. It optimizes the light distribution of the headlights automatically by shading the area of oncoming traffic, so that the high beam does not blind other drivers, while maintaining sufficient light.
