The race ended with the victory of the youngest member of the Toyota team, the reigning world champion, Kale Rovanpera. This is his first success in this year's championship.

After 5 stages, in the overall standings, the first three places are occupied by representatives of the Toyota Gazoo Racing team - the legendary Sébastien Ogier is in the first place, Elfin Evans is in the second place, and Rovanpera is in the third place.
